
Dominic Dettore received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Center of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Upon moving to Chicago, Kozan Studios chose Dominic to manage over twenty artists in a variety of projects from interior and set design to furniture design.
His primary media is oil paint. Admired for his versatility, his interpretations range from character-driven tableaus to impressionistic landscapes, vivid abstracts and pop art.
Dominic’s fine art has been commissioned in both private and corporate collections in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami and Paris. Many celebrities are among his clientele. Dominic’s work has been published in Design Times, Vanity Fair, Showcase Interior Design, Western Interiors, and In Style.
Dominic volunteers with many local charity organizations. He has taught art to children at The Assistance League of Southern California and to homeless youths at LifeWorks and the Jeff Griffith Youth Center. He also created OUT2connect to increase funding for these various programs. The site solicits local business owners to advertise and barter their services, and provides teens the opportunity to post their artwork online for personal recognition at www.OUT2connect.com

His T-Shirt lines, all donate a portion of the proceeds to the Center and employ film /graphic art students and local artists. Dominic contributes prints of his art work to many non-profit organizations. He also has created his own charitable events that raise awareness to support the LGBT Youth programs for homeless youths.
The ACD Foundation: Art for Children’s Development is Dominic’s future project to foster art programs for schools and other organizations. The ACD Foundation was established in memory of his mother, an artist herself, and the inspiration for this organization.
